Our 3D printed Audi license plate bracket is now available in several different engineering-grade materials, all of which are tough thermoplastics that are well suited for this application, and are a significant improvement over the expensive OEM brackets:



.: Carbon fiber-reinforced nylon shell bonded to a ductile nylon core (very tough)
.: Glass fiber-reinforced ASA (impact- and UV-resistant)
.: Carbon fiber-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (extremely tough + heat and chemical resistant)

The Standard Fitment bracket has been confirmed to fit nearly every Audi model from circa 2010-onwards.



All brackets come with 316 (marine grade) stainless steel fasteners to mount the bracket to your car, as well as to mount your license plate TO the bracket. Since a lot of folks do not like the look of stainless steel screw heads, if you opt for the standard ones, you will receive a set of UV-resistant snap-on caps to cover the screws. Alternatively, we also offer black oxide coated 304 stainless fasteners as an option, but bear in mind that these are nowhere near as corrosion resistant as the standard 316 stainless steel ones we offer. We DO NOT recommend these for use on cars on the east coast or in the rust belt.

What's Included

Your plate bracket will come with:

  • Stainless steel (316) screws to secure the bracket to your car
  • Stainless steel (316 or 304) screws to secure your plate to the bracket [2 sets: short, and long]
  • Black "snap on" caps to cover the screw heads if you choose 316 stainless

Perfect fit

Like others, the license plate bracket for my brand new Q5 was a POS. This bracket worked perfectly and honestly the hardest part about switching the brackets was getting the OEM bracket off the car because of the industrial strength double-sided tape. Audi should use this bracket as the standard, especially since it’s a bad look to sell expensive, luxury cars and have a known crappy license plate bracket.
