These are available in different engineering-grade materials: carbon fiber nylon (tough and strong) and carbon fiber polyphenylene sulfide (extremely tough). Both are strong thermoplastics that are well suited for this application.

The Standard Fitment bracket has been confirmed to fit nearly every Audi model from circa 2010-onwards.
All brackets come with 316 (marine grade) stainless steel fasteners to mount the bracket to your car, as well as to mount your license plate TO the bracket. Since a lot of folks do not like the look of stainless steel screw heads, if you opt for the standard ones, you will receive a set of UV-resistant snap-on caps to cover the screws.
Alternatively, we also offer black oxide coated 304 stainless fasteners as an option, but bear in mind that these are nowhere near as corrosion resistant as the standard 316 stainless steel ones we offer. We DO NOT recommend these for use on cars on the east coast or in the rust belt.

Our Materials
Our Materials
We often get asked what the difference is between all of the different materials that we offer.
UberTough Nylon Carbon Fiber: This is a copolymer alloyed with Nylon 6 and Nylon 12, and then reinforced with 15% carbon fiber. The resulting product is a bracket that exhibits some marginal flexibility, but is reasonably rigid and very tough. We take these a step further by bonding the outer carbon fiber shell to an even tougher and ductile core made from Nylon 910. We then put each bracket through an annealing process, followed by a toughening process.
FlexiTough Nylon Carbon Fiber + TPU: This unique hybrid shares the same carbon fiber shell as our UberTough brackets do, but instead of a Nylon 910 core we bond it to TPU instead. The resulting bracket is more flexible, but also tougher and more resistant to breakage.
PPS Carbon Fiber: Compared to Nylon, this material is extremely rigid. Significantly stronger to the point of being overkill for the application, PPS is also very heat resistant and has the unique characteristic of sounding like metal if you tap it on a hard surface. It tends to have a rougher looking surface finish than Nylon does, and it also doesn't laser mark very well.

- Black "snap on" caps to cover the screw heads if you choose 316 stainless

Great fit and exactly what I needed! Fit perfectly onto my 2022 SQ5. Install would have inly taken 2 minutes if Audi didnt put so much double sided tape on the stock bracket. Went through the car wash with no issues at all. Definitely will be recommending the company to others!
The license plate mounting frame fits perfectly on my audi Q8 and A5. No rattles, no misalignment, no complaints. Only recommendation is to make the two mounting screws hex head as well and install bevel to mount on the face side.
This plate bracket is the best I've come across. Well worth the money, especially since an OEM bracket is more than twice the cost and a terrible piece to begin with. This fit my 2023 Audi Q7 perfectly. I'm very pleased with the quality of the YLCNC Shop bracket!
